Do It for the Right Reasons

You have dreams.

You have visions for the future.

You have goals.

But why?

Why dream?

Why imagine a better future?

Why lay out goals for yourself?

Is it for money?

For status?

For power?

Look deeper.

If you long for riches, you'll never be satisfied.

If you long for status, you might climb high enough to realise there's nothing fulfilling at the top.

If you long for riches, you'll find your hands perpetually empty.  

Pursuing wealth can become a never-ending cycle of desire, leaving you unfulfilled.

If you long for status, you might climb high enough to realise the view is the same as it was below.  

Status is often tied to fleeting external validation, leaving a hollowness when achieved.

If you long for power, you may discover the true weight of the crown.

Power often isolates and corrupts, replacing genuine connection with the need for control.

The reasons of why we do what we do matter.

And it's better to find that out sooner rather than later.

Otherwise, you might find yourself walking a long, difficult road, only to wonder what the point of it all was.

Do it for purpose.

Do it for love.

Do it because you believe in a better future.

Do it because you find fulfillment.

Don't be scared to look deeper.
